BIOL-208 Mammalian Physiology
Fall only
This course will explore function and regulation of all of the major systems of the mammalian body, most of it related to humans. For many systems, structure and function are intimately related and these relationships will be detailed especially in the nervous, muscular, circulatory, pulmonary, excretory and digestive systems. How these systems serve to maintain homeostasis will be a unifying theme throughout the course. Biology core is required and Biochemistry is highly recommended.
