BIOL-230 Science Pedagogy: Principles and Practice

This course is designed to give a theoretical and practical introduction to teaching Biology at the middle and high school level. It is limited to Biology and Biology of Global Health majors who have already been approved for RISE & Teach (the classroom research version of the Research Intensive Senior Experience) and is to be taken in the spring of Junior year.

Applications to the program are due in October. Permission of the instructor is required.

Prerequisites: BIOL-103 and BIOL-104
