FREN-272 FR Stages of Love/Sex: Acting Workshop
Spring for 2014-2015
No faculty information available
Continuing the tradition of performance-based theater courses in French combining thematic and dramaturgic analysis with selective scene-study for actors, we will, this time around, be exploring a handful of plays, from the 17th century to the present, to see how they treat the infinite variations on the crucial matters of love and sex. In addition to performance work, students will maintain a Journal de Bord and participate in a final public montage before a campus audience.
This course fulfills the upper-division post-advanced language requirement for the French major.
