GERM-431 Memory and Narrative in the New Germany
Faculty:
German unification and the end of the Cold War have generated renewed interest in the history of the two Germanies and in the history of National Socialism. This reading-intensive course examines cultural, generational, and individual memories of recent German history by looking at films, literary narratives and public debates.
