LASP-521 Energy Security: Western Hemisphere

The seminar is divided into four interrelated building blocks: (i) World Energy Overview, comparing the Energy Balances of United States, China, Europe, Mexico and Brazil; (ii) the dynamics of the world petroleum market, world regional petroleum balances with Scenarios to 2030; (iii) petroleum balances of the western hemisphere with country and trade blocs analysis with Scenarios to 2030 and (iv) the potential for Hemispheric Energy Cooperation as a means of fostering regional energy security.
