This course focuses on authentic Arabic media, including print media, video, and computer-based materials. Activities include reading/listening for comprehension, and discussion of topics related to current events, politics, economics, society, and culture. Taught in Arabic. Prerequisite: two years of Arabic, or permission of the instructor.

  • Media Arabic is a course designed for students who studied two years of Arabic. The course will enable students to build the skills required for comprehending the language of Arabic Media. The course objective is to train students to read authentic material of Arabic press and broadcasting. Activities include monitoring current materials via internet, writing, summarizing, translating, and oral presentations and discussions
