This course is an introduction to the techniques and aesthetics of the personal computer as a visual arts tool. A variety of software and hardware will be utilized in the development of a portfolio of printed and electronic images in this new medium. The course will place emphasis on creative individuality. Students enrolled in Studio courses will devote a minimum of 4 - 6 hours per week outside of class to develop and complete assignments. These times are flexible and can be rearranged with the instructor.
Prerequistie: Either 001, 110, or 130. Fall and Spring
