A hands-on, laboratory-based course that introduces students to core techniques such as electrophoretic analysis of nucleic acids and proteins, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), Southern blotting, ELISA and western blotting, protein purification, tissue culture, DNA cloning, and Bioinformatics.
