ENGL-335 Scriptwriting Workshop
Professor Glavin
This workshop introduces students to the fundamental techniques in characterization, plot and dialogue that support scripts intended for both the stage and the screen. It is the first in a ladder of courses (see English 336 and 337) designed to prepare students for entrance to graduate programs in dramatic writing, film or theatre, or to equip them to enter film or theatre after graduation. Students must complete English 335 successfully to qualify for English 336 or 337. Class size is limited; therefore, the course can only be taken with permission of the instructor. Fall.
