ENGL-479-01 Reading, Teaching, Social Reflection
Fall for 2005-2006
This course involves the student in the Catholic Schools Project, which involves both learning how to teach a young child to read, and working as a teacher's aide one morning a week, assisting both in reading and in other subjects, in one of three inner-city Catholic schools which since 1995 have welcomed Georgetown Students in this capacity: Assumption Primary School in Anacostia, Immaculate Conception Primary School in Shaw, and Sacred Heart (bilingual) Primary school in Mount Pleasant. Fall.
