GOVT-433 Religion in World Politics

  • The course will explore the shifting role of religion in world politics in the context of globalization. Topics will include religious pluralism and its impact, international religious freedom, and relations between the West and the Muslim world. Critical case studies and collaborative projects will organize the work of the class. Throughout we will explore religion, not in isolation, but as it interacts with society and politics, nationally and internationally.
