HESY-270 Marketing for HC Mangers

HESY-270 Marketing for HC Mangers
Spring only
Marlowe, David
Healthcare Marketing combines principles of marketing with the practical application of today's dynamic health care environment. Health care marketing is NOT solely about advertising a product or service, participating in a community health fair, or creating demand for products and services that are not needed. It is a process of aligning the organization's overall brand, mission, vision and values and strategic operating plan, with the needs and wants of its consumers (or other targeted audiences) and developing integrated campaigns that are constantly evaluated and measured. While health care marketers have finally earned a seat at the executive table, they must continue to demonstrate how their function ties back to the organization's strategic operating plan and the institution's overall brand.
Credits: 3
Prerequisites: HCMP Juniors or permission of instructor
