HIST-363 Islam in the West

  • The course will examine the formation and growth of the Muslim communities in North America and Europe. It will explore the history and dynamics of community development in a western context, the creation of an Islamic minority perspective, the challenges the community and the host countries face, and the variety of efforts to meet these challenges.
