HSCI-100 Language of Health and Disease
Spring for 2017-2018
This course is designed for the student to become conversant in the terminology and technology associated with human health, disease, and health care in order to effectively participate and communicate in health care administration. Case studies and other applications will be analyzed and discussed that relate to today’s preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative practices. Mastery of the concepts and terminology presented will provide a fundamental vocabulary of human health and disease employed in modern health care practice and its management.
