INAF-307 Political Economy of European Integration

INAF-307 Political Economy of European Integration

  • This course will give students an introduction to the issues of political economy that the European Union must address and must attempt to solve in the process of European integration. Students will look at separate European economies in order to understand where they resemble each other and where they differ. Students will study the economies of EU members and of current candidates. Based on their national and European analyses, the students will present issues faced by the EU, discuss and/or debate what the EU and different countries should do or are likely to do. Finally, they will discuss how the EU is integrating.
