INAF-287 Politics of India
Fall for 2017-2018
This course introduces students to the politics of India. Students will develop a working knowledge of India's modern political history (1947-present) and an understanding of India's political institutions, political economy and state-society relations. The focus of this course is on India's domestic politics with the goal of understanding its implications for economic and social reform, regional security issues, and deepening engagement with the global economy.
