INAF-326 Politics of China
Fall for 2015-2016
This course introduces students to the politics of China. Students will
develop a working knowledge of China's modern political history (1949-present) and a critical understanding of China's political culture, regime characteristics, political economy and state-society relations. Although the focus of this course is on China's domestic politics, there will be some discussion of how international factors have affected China's political development and of how China compares with other countries in East Asia.
