LING-551 Supervised Teaching Practicum

This course provides students with the opportunity to apply theory and research from the field of ESL acquisition and instruction, and aims to cultivate expertise in ESL/EFL classroom pedagogical skills. Key course objectives are: (a) to prepare teachers who have a range of knowledge and skills associated with effective classroom practices, and (b) to lay the foundations for continued professional development by developing student-teachers' reflective processes on their L2 instructional practice.
