LSHS-120 Writing in an Interdisciplinary Enviroment

  • BALS students only. This course is an introduction to writing in an academic context. Attention will be paid not only to mechanics but also to style and modes of argument. Students will read widely and work closely with the instructor on improving their analytical skills, developing and organizing their ideas, and writing clear, persuasive, and lively prose. This course should be taken during a BALS student's first two semesters.
