MGMT-310 Internship in Business
Faculty:
The Internship in Business course permits the student to gain practical work experience in a
business environment. Students select a specific area within the field of business and explore it in greater depth outside the normal classroom situation. The purpose of the internship is to provide the student with an understanding of how a business actually operates and how theories learned in school are applied in the business world. The internship course is a three-credit honors seminar available to juniors and seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.00. Students must gain the approval of his/her dean and the professor to register for the course. Approved internships must be in the field of business and must provide a significant learning experience for the student. Please see the MSB Undergraduate Deans' Office for required paperwork for additional information on gaining approval. Credits: 3
