A thorough introduction to the history and socioeconomic underpinnings of sports. This course examines the issues of ethnicity, gender, and international scope in relation to the modern sports world. Through readings, discussion, and role-playing, this course explores the stereotypes, misconceptions, and social elements of a changing sports landscape.
