Federal contractors make up a large portion of the area's workforce, and the government has consistently hired large and small firms to supply technical needs and solve complex issues. In this course, you’ll gain an understanding of the federal acquisition system and learn how to manage technical projects as a contractor for the federal government. You will understand how to navigate through procedures and rules while also complying with the statement of work and client requests. You will get an understanding of how to staff and manage a project from inception to delivery and the subsequent test and acceptance period. Skills used in this offering will be: project management, financial planning, personnel management, stakeholder management and technical expertise.
