NURS-235 Case Analysis for Nursing Practice
The purpose of this course is to foster critical thinking in nursing practice by building upon nursing science and related knowledge of the basic sciences. This course will focus primarily on topics relevant to vulnerable populations, including, and not limited to, health disparities, conditions experienced in special populations, e.g. infants, children and adolescents, childbearing women, mental and behavioral health, and individuals experiencing major trauma. Content may also be individualized to individual learner learning needs. This course is designed for small group learning to facilitate systematic utilization of the nursing care process. This course is designed for learners who would benefit from additional content review in preparing for successful transition to professional nursing practice.
