PHYS-506 Hydrogenic Atoms and Defects in Semiconductors

The extension of quantum mechanics to three dimensions will be covered. The ideas of spin and angular momentum will be introduced along with non-degenerate perturbation theory. Applications to atomic systems and semiconductor dopants will be covered.
