Extensive reading, writing, and oral work, on topics relating to culture, civilization, politics, and economics of Latin America, including newspapers and films. Intensive review of Spanish grammar with emphasis on improving oral expression. Includes oral interviews, laboratory recording, debate and filmed presentations. Conducted entirely in Spanish. Prerequisite: SPAN 101.
