SPAN-247 PENINSULAR CONT SHORT STORY

This course studies the short story in modern Spain, including works by authors writing from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds within the country. In addition to examining narrative strategies through close readings of the texts, we will consider how literature negotiates what it means to be “Spanish” in different historical periods and geographical regions. All work will be in Spanish.
