  • This course will examine poetry from late 19th century to the present day in Latin America. Starting with Jose Marti and Ruben Dario, we will examine the personal, artistic, social, and political factors that influenced poets. Some of the poets read include: Marti, Dario, Agustini, Huidobro, Girondo, Neruda, Vallejo, Storni, Mistral, Paz, and a selection of contemporary poets.
