SPAN-373 Peoples and Cultures of Latin America
Faculty:
This course analyzes different aspects of Latin American peoples and
their culture since colonial times to present day in order to understand the variety and complexity that has forged the cultural dimension of the region. We will also tackle aspects related to ethnicity and cultural conflict and will try to explore how these different aspects have defined todays Latin American societies. Credits: 3
Prerequisites: SPAN-242 or SPAN-262
