STRT-283 Strategic Management
This course explores the fundamentals of developing a sound strategy for achieving competitive advantage and profitability. The course explores analytical frameworks for understanding the dynamics of competition in industries and for assessing an organization's resources and capabilities for competing successfully in the industry. Lectures will introduce the concepts and frameworks. Case, class discussion, and a major term paper will provide principal opportunities for students to practice the concepts and frameworks. Formerly offered as MGMT 283.
