THEO-130 Jewish Mysticism
Professor Soltes
This course will address the question of what "mysticism" is--how it differs from "normative" religious experience--and therefore how Jewish mysticism differs from (and is rooted in) normative Judaism. It will also address the question of how Jewish mysticism differs from (and shares common ground with) Christian and Muslim mysticism. (Not offered 2004-05)
