THEO-130 Jewish Mysticism

This course will address the question of what "mysticism" is--how it differs from "normative" religious experience--and therefore how Jewish mysticism differs from (and is rooted in) normative Judaism. It will also address the question of how Jewish mysticism differs from (and shares common ground with) Christian and Muslim mysticism.
