THEO-283 Faith, Social Justice, and Public Life

The course will address the intersection of religion, society, and politics in the United States across a series of critical issue areas. Topics to be addressed will include poverty, education, health care, race, and gender. Frequent guest presentations will expose students to practitioner's perspectives on these and other issues. The course will be videotaped, edited, and presented for wider distribution. Admitted students will be required to sign a release form. For information, email Michael Kessler at mjk62@georgetown.edu.
