THEO-297-01 Senior Seminar: Religious Pluralism
Spring for 2007-2008
Faculty:
  • Gillis, Chester
  • This seminar for senior theology majors in the Religion and Culture track will study the contemporary issue of "pluralism" among religions, that is, how is each to assess the validity, meaning and efficacy of other religions? The course will consider the theological and practical issues that arise in the currently widespread practice of "dialogue." Clearly this issue affects cultures (such as Western culture) as well as religions.
